With close to twenty years of experience behind the lens,
Andrea has written, shot, and edited a cultural television
show that earned several awards and industry recognition.
Over the last ten years, She has worked exclusively through
referrals from one happy client to another. My involvement
with Andrea McKenzie Photography was through her newest
addition Patty Walby. An award-winning videographer and
video editor with eighteen years of experience. She has
been recognized with two prestigious Emmys for her
television video work, an Associated Press Award for “Best
Videography” and several other award nominations. As a
wedding officiant I've often run into photographers that,
more or less, get in the way of the Ceremony for the sake of
a picture. Andrea and Patty work tirelessly to make it appear

Affordable flowers was founded in 1987. The current owner, John Curzdylo acquired the business in 1992.
They have two locations to better serve their customers: Birmingham and Royal Oak. The staff is highly
skilled and each specializing in certain areas. Each Floral Designer and House Plant Specialist has over 20
years experience. Their Events Specialists with their design experience and education can create the perfect
ambiance for the largest corporate event or any intimate gathering.
Their outstanding quality of flowers, green and blooming plants, fruit and gourmet baskets, flower designs,
balloons, plush animals and candy matched with their professional service has earned them a reputation for
excellence both locally and among other florists nationwide.
Voted one of the top 5 in WDIV's Best of Detroit in 2009, Affordable Flowers is just that. Affordable. I usually
tell my couples to see Andy at the Royal Oak Store on Woodward Ave. He has a sense of flair mixed with
common sense. Always mindful of budgetary constraints, Andy does a great job in giving the custom what
they want. He also coordinates with other vendors very well so that the cake topper, or flowers going on the
cake is done to the proper size.
